Local SEO does not need to be mysterious. For many businesses in Limerick and Clare, the basics still go a long way.
Start with clear page intent
Each important page should have one clear purpose. If a page is trying to rank for everything at once, it usually ends up weak for both search engines and people.
Make location signals obvious
If you serve Limerick, Clare, or both, say that clearly in your page titles, headings, body copy, and contact details. Do not assume Google will infer it from thin copy.
Support search with structure
- one strong H1 per page
- useful introductory copy near the top
- internal links between related services and locations
- clean metadata and canonicals
- mobile-friendly layout and readable content blocks
Avoid thin near-duplicates
Creating many shallow pages is rarely helpful. A smaller number of well-written pages with clear local relevance is a better starting point.
Keep it practical
Good local SEO usually starts with better pages, not tricks. If the page is clear about who you help, what you do, and where you do it, that is already a stronger foundation than most small business sites have.
